Founded in 2017 by Dr. B. Monte Stewart, a board-certified general surgeon, Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center provides physician-supervised hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients with conditions where HBOT is clinically appropriate. Our medical-grade, hard-sided chambers are operated by trained staff under physician oversight, with treatment plans based on each patient’s medical history, diagnosis, and goals of care. With locations in Ashland and Klamath Falls, we provide HBOT in a comfortable outpatient setting while maintaining clinical standards for evaluation, safety, and treatment planning.
Physician Supervised
Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment
Medical-grade, hard-sided hyperbaric chambers are used in clinical HBOT programs to deliver prescribed treatment pressures and medical-grade oxygen. These chambers differ from low-pressure portable or wellness chambers and are operated with medical protocols, patient screening, trained staff, and physician oversight.
Patient Experience
“We are so grateful to have found this life changing treatment and the team involved in my husband's long-time vascular and wound issues (aka the Harley Davidson leg) WE highly recommend people research the benefits of hbot and would like to THANK all of you at the healing team at Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center.”

PHYSICIAN SUPERVISED HBOT
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing medical-grade oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. Under increased pressure, more oxygen can dissolve into the bloodstream and reach tissues where oxygen delivery is limited. For selected conditions, HBOT may support wound healing, help the body respond to certain infections, and assist recovery when used as part of a medical treatment plan.
Depending on the patient’s condition and treatment plan, HBOT supports care by:
- increasing oxygen delivery to tissues with reduced blood supply
- reducing inflammation in affected tissues
- supporting selected wound-healing processes
- assisting the body’s response to certain infections
- supporting recovery of compromised grafts or flaps when clinically appropriate
- serving as an adjunct to surgery, antibiotics, wound care, or other medical treatment when indicated
Medical Grade Hard Chambers
Medical-grade, hard-sided chambers allow HBOT to be delivered at prescribed pressures using medical-grade oxygen. Under pressure, oxygen dissolves more readily into the bloodstream, allowing oxygen delivery to tissues that may not be receiving enough oxygen under normal conditions.
Southern Oregon’s First
Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center was the first of its kind in Southern Oregon, offering physician-directed HBOT in medical-grade, hard-sided chambers. Our clinical team develops each treatment plan based on the patient’s diagnosis, medical history, safety considerations, and treatment goals.
